"Open Lecture Hall" program

This program allows you to get to know degree programs and the university, to sharpen your language skills and to prepare for studies without being matriculated at the university.

Compass UniBE – university preparation for refugee students

Compass UniBE is a two-semester university preparation program that prepares you linguistically, professionally and organizationally for possible admission to a course of study at the University of Bern.

If you have an academic background or at least a foreign upper secondary school-leaving certificate and already have a good command of German (level B1) as well as high motivation to spend a year preparing for your studies, then Compass UniBE may be the right choice for you.

Application for admission as a student

You are holding the required academic qualifications, know what you are aiming for and would like to start a degree program or continue your studies that you have started somewhere else.
