Application
The following additional documents have to be submitted with the application form:
- CV and a career plan
- Science CV according to the specifications of the SNSF
- Research plan for the stay abroad
- Letters of confirmation and support from the host institution
- Letters of confirmation and support from the first and second supervisors
- Doctoral agreement
- Master’s and Bachelor's diploma
- If applicable: Application(s) for exemption
The application with all necessary documents must be submitted to the Research Commission Administrative Office of the University of Bern as one PDF file.

Important: The online application must be completed in full within one session and all documents must be uploaded. Please prepare all documents as pdf files before logging in.
