Definition of quality

The university want to offer researchers in all areas the best possible environment, to guarantee and foster high-quality research. Quality assurance in research is becoming increasingly important, not least because of the debate on excellence and through the disputed means of grading research performance using evaluations, ratings or rankings. The university therefore analyzes and grades its own research performance on a regular basis, thereby creating transparency in the services provided and using the using the results for potential measures and further development in the field of research.
