Approval Procedure

Submit the request for an extension of your period of study, together with the required documents, to the Dean's Office of the faculty in which you are taking a major for verification.

Only the person or committee to whom the request is addressed will see your documents. If your request is turned down, the faculty committee or the Dean will also be granted access. Data protection and confidentiality are fully guaranteed.

Appeals

Decisions on requests are announcements. You can address appeals against decisions to the Appeal Committee of the University of Bern.
