Health Insurance

Everyone in Switzerland must have health insurance (costs of cure, illness and accident).

International students who have comparable insurance protection for treatment in Switzerland, can be exempted from paying insurance in Switzerland by request if they submit a request (form) to the Social Security Office within three months of taking up residence in the country.
