Data protection
The only information stored on the RFID chip of a UNICARD is the number of the card itself (no matriculation or personnel number or any other data). This card number serves solely to identify the card.
The chip therefore carries no personal data, and it is not intended that any will be stored there.
The data needed for validation all comes from a single existing database and is stored in the UNICARD system only (not on the card). Particularly sensitive personal data as defined in Article 3 of the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) is not used.
