Admission Requirements
Anyone interested in attending courses without taking exams can register as an auditor. By signing the registration form, you confirm that you have read and understood the regulations. Admission can be granted to all people aged 18 or over who have registered as auditors at the Admissions Office.
After payment of the registration fee, you will receive a personal, non-transferable pass that allows you to attend a variety of courses offered as part of the university's regular study programs.
You will receive a campus account, which will give you access to course materials uploaded to our online learning platforms.
Preparation for non-university exams
If you are preparing for non-university exams and need to attend courses at the University of Bern, you may not register as an auditor. Instead, you will have to officially matriculate as a student (provided that you fulfill the admission requirements). This specifically applies to bar examinations or pastoral training.
