Pickleball

Pickleball, the trend sport from the USA, has also reached University Sports Bern. Pickleball is a mix of different backstroke sports and is played in both singles and doubles. The court is almost identical to the badminton court, but the net is at tennis height, the rackets (paddles) look like oversized table tennis bats and the ball resembles a floorball. There are numerous reasons to get started with pickleball: fun to play, easy to learn, simple rules, socialising, low joint strain, etc.
