Jacobs Foundation supports graduate school
From 2013 onwards, the Center for Cognition, Learning and Memory at the University of Bern has been receiving additional funding from the Jacobs Foundation for a period of three years with a view to building a Graduate School for Learning and Memory. Through its promotion of the initiative, the Jacobs Foundation is making it possible to arrange additional doctoral grants and summer schools.
Targeted training of early career academic researchers in the area of cognition, learning and memory will also provide some impetus to the project to establish the new interdisciplinary center at which a dozen or so groups will be involved in basic and applied research.
